S&S Seating - FAQ

Q: Can I actually sit in the memorabilia seats?

A: Yes, you can! All of the full seats from S&S Seating received regular maintenance in the original stadium for the duration of their service there. They came straight from the original stadium to our warehouse facility and we check the seats to make sure each seat is safe and sound and in working order. Riser-mount seats come with the custom-made floor mount brackets to make your seat free-standing.  For stability, you will need to bolt the seats into your floor or deck, or purchase Seat Feet (from www.StadiumSeatDepot.com) for stability and portability.

Q: What if I don't have a PayPal Account?
A: Memorabilia: It's alright if you don't have a Paypal account. All sales are made using Paypal's secure website shopping cart, but... *You do not have to signup with Paypal to purchase from our site. On the checkout page follow the link after "Don't have a PayPal account?" and you will be given the option of enter your credit card information.

A: Bulk: most bulk orders are invoiced and payable via check or wire transfer.

Q: How is my order shipped?

A: Orders are shipped either via FedEx ground, LTL Freight or via USPS Priority Mail, depending on the size of the order and where it is being shipped. Full size seats (both singles and doubles) are shipped via FedEX ground. Bulk Orders are shipped via LTL Freight disassembled in large palletized boxes.

Q: Can I request a rush delivery?

A: Yes, please contact us for rush delivery options...additional charges will apply.

Q: Can I request specific seat numbers?

A: Yes, we typically have seat numbers 1-20.  While we can not guarantee that we will have the number, we will do our best to accomodate all requests.  For memorabilia orders, please put your seat number request in the Notes to Seller section of the PayPal transaction.

Q: Do I have to sign for the package?

A: Memorabilia: No, shipments sent via FEDEX Ground are sent without a signature required.  If no one is home, FedEx will leave the package by the front door.
A: Bulk: Yes, LTL shipments require someone be present to unload and sign for the shipment.  The truck driver will have instructions to call ahead to coordinate delivery.

Q: Can I get tracking on my order?

A: All orders shipped via FEDEX come with a tracking number. If you would like your tracking number, please email us and we'll get you the number immediately. Orders sent via USPS & LTL do NOT have tracking as the service is not an option they offer.

Q: How quickly can I expect to get my order?
A: Memorabilia: Here at the S&S Seating, we pride ourselves on customer service. Part of that customer service is providing the most unique memorabilia for the pro sports fan in your life, and part of that is getting your order to you quickly. Transit time varies depending on how far the destination is, but most orders arrive within 3 to 7 business days. However, due to postal holidays and heavy shipping dates, we recommend you place the order at least two weeks in advance.
*If you have an important upcoming event (a graduation, birthday, anniversary, etc.) and you absolutely need to have your order arrive by a specific date, PLEASE ORDER EARLY! The earlier the order comes in, the earlier we can ship it out. Also, you can add "Instructions to merchant" at checkout and we will do our best to accommodate your order.

A: Bulk Orders: It can take anywhere between 1-4 weeks to put a bulk order together and get it shipped out, depending on the size of the order.

Q: Is my seat fully assembled, or do I have to put it together myself?

A: Single Seats: arrive fully assembled.
A: Double seats: in an effort to keep shipping costs low, seat pairs are shipped with one seat detached. This allows for lower shipping cost, a savings that we pass on to our customers. We provide the nuts and bolts needed to assemble it, which takes only a few minutes. If you have any questions at all on how to get your seat ready for use, please email us. We'll be happy to help!
A: Bulk Seats: seats shipped in bulk are shipped completely disassembled in large palletized boxes via LTL freight.

Q: Do you provide installation services and/or installation instructions?

A:  On bulk orders we do offer installation services for an additional cost...costs vary depending on many factors.  Please contact us to get a quote for your project.  Most of our customers do the installation on their own and we do have installation instructions from the original manufacturer available for download (click here).
